Carmel Valley Chamber's - 24th Annual Chili Cook-off

One of the Valley's most anticipated events... The CVWE always looks forward to the Carmel Valley Chili Cook-off!! This, the 24th annual, will be held at River Ranch Cafe at Carmel Valley Ranch on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 from 5 pm to 8 pm. It is a no-holds-barred cook-off of America's favorite comfort food. Gunning for the BEST-of-the-BEST title, the event pits many renowned local chefs as well as amateur chefs up against one another! 

Beyond the creative vegetarian, chicken, beef and other yummy prize winning chili that will hit your palette. Professional bartenders will be shaking up their signature drinks. If not a margarita with your chili, how about a brew... OR better yet how about some delicious wines from the Carmel Valley Wine Experience!!

Harvest Festival 2017

A Celebration of Harvest

The CVWE hosts their 3nd annual HARVEST Celebration at Carmel Valley Ranch in the Carmel Valley on Saturday, October 21st. From 1pm to 4pm, this Food & Wine event will showcase the bounty of Monterey County and its sunny and serene Carmel Valley.

A gastronomic affair to delight the senses - featuring a dozen local wineries, local restaurants, the farmed flavors of Carmel Valley Ranch (salt, lavender, honey and more), as well as live music and winemaking demonstrations.

LIST of PARTICIPANTS:

WINERIES: Bernardus, Big Sur Vineyards, Chesebro, Cima Collina, Holman Ranch, Idle Hour, Joullian, Joyce, Mercy, Parsonage, Windy Oaks and Swing (from the Carmel Valley Ranch Estate).

Carmel Valley Chamber's - Art & Wine Celebration

The Carmel Valley Wine Experience looks forward to being part of the Chamber's 13th Annual Art & Wine Celebration. Join us in the Carmel Valley Village on Saturday, June 17th from 11am to 5pm as we enjoy this European-style, strolling celebration along Del Fino Place in the heart of the quaint village. Enjoy wine tasting with CVWE members, and more, while perusing the many art exhibits; including plain air artists, photographers, jewelry designers, and other fine art genres. Live Jazz music performances.

Admission is free, with wine tasting tickets available for purchase for $30 (5 tickets good for 10 total tastings) with advanced purchase, and $40 at the door.  A signature wine glass is included with wine tasting ticket purchase. Wine tasting stops

Complimentary service to Carmel Valley will be provided by Monterey Salinas Transit (Grapevine Express, Line 24). Join us in celebrating some of the wonderful sights, tastes and talent Carmel Valley has to offer!!

Sauvignon Blanc Day Celebration

Calling all Sauvignon Blanc Fans to the Carmel Valley!

In celebration of International Sauvignon Blanc Day on Friday, May 6th, those Carmel Valley Wine Experience (CVWE) members who produce Sauvignon Blanc will be celebrating with various tasting and buying opportunities!

Participating CVWE members producing Sauvignon Blanc include: Bernardus, Bunter Spring, Chesebro, Cima Collina, Holman Ranch, Joullian & Mercy. Each tasting room* will offer complimentary tastings of their Sauvignon Blanc wine(s) as well as discounts of at least 20% on bottle purchases of Sauvignon Blancs.  

Further, many of the participating member tasting rooms will be adding to the festivities by either releasing new a vintage(s), pouring barrel tastings or making available for tasting special Sauvignon Blanc wine(s).

Come on out to sunny Carmel Valley and enjoy the noble Sauvignon Blanc grape with the Carmel Valley Wine Experience!!

*All participating tasting rooms have different hours of operations. Please check the CVWE Wineries page for specific tasting room hours.

The CVWE hosts their inaugural Food & Wine Festival at Hidden Valley in the Carmel Valley Village on Sunday, October 11th (over Columbus Day weekend).  From 1pm to 4pm the CVWE will showcase the bounty of Monterey County and its sunny and serene Carmel Valley.

A gastronomic affair to delight the senses - featuring over a dozen local wineries, local restaurants, local honey tasting from the Carmel Honey Company and olive oil tasting from Quail & Olive, as well as live music and winemaking demonstrations.

LIST of PARTICIPANTS:

WINERIES: Bernardus, Bunter Spring, Chesebro, Cima Collina, CoastView, Holman Ranch, Idle Hour, Joullian, Joyce, Mercy, Parsonage and Talbott.

RESTAURANTS: Cachaugua General Store, Lokal, Lucia (Bernardus Lodge), Sky's the Limit, Valley Kitchen (Carmel Valley Ranch) and Will's Fargo.

LIVE MUSIC (Bands and Musicians): Square One, Pat Clark and Roger Hernandez.

Tickets include CVWE Logo glass. Tickets holders are entitled to free transportation on MST Grapevine Express, Line 24, on Sunday, October 11th, 2015, with proof of purchase.
