Carmel Valley Wine Experience

Sip. Savor. Sunshine.

Known for its world-class resorts, spas, golf courses, galleries, boutiques and fine dining, Monterey County's sunny and serene Carmel Valley is a burgeoning destination for wine tasting. The Carmel Valley Wine Experience is a collective of wineries and tasting rooms that call this charming wine country home.

We invite travelers and wine lovers to learn more about us and come visit the beautiful Carmel Valley.

Monterey County is home to much of California's finest produce, livestock and seafood. So it should come as no surprise that the region is filled with wondrous dinning establishments as well as food marketplaces. It is inevitable in such surroundings that the Carmel Valley has become a haven for delicious and tantalizing cuisine; from local bistros to high-end white tablecloth restaurants, to local farmers' markets and high-end grocers, the Carmel Valley boasts unparallelled gastronomic flavors.

The Carmel Valley Wine Experience invites visitors to enjoy the bounty of our bucolic setting and local restaurants.  Furthermore, we would like to mention a few local spots that stand out for their support of the local CVWE wine scene:

The Will’s building was constructed in the late 1920s to be a tea room and later served as a road house located on the “milk run” between Monterey and Tassajara, eventually becoming a dinner house named The Carousel. Will Fay established Will’s Fargo Restaurant in 1959; the name simply a take-off on his first name which seemed appropriate for what he called the “dressed up saloon” interior. With the use of antiques and collectibles, Will merged the gracious aura of a Victorian parlor with a western “Fargo” way station. An evening at Will’s Fargo brings you and your guests back to a bygone era — where excellent service was the rule, not the exception. The rustic charm and beauty of the property will set the scene for a fabulous experience that you will talk about for years.  *** Will's Fargo Restaurnat + Bar offers free corkage on wines from Carmel Valley Wine Experience member wineries.
